My coffee bag is blown up like a balloon, is it safe to use?

Yes, it is perfectly fine to use. Coffee gives off a lot of carbon dioxide after roasting and if it is packaged too quickly after roasting it will degas inside the package and sometimes even blow up the package. It is perfectly safe,  just cut a small section to let the pressure out when you open the package or sometimes beans can pop out.
